WHO ARE WE WITHOUT THE REST OF THE WORLD?
As we progress in our journey we will have attained countless victories. These victories come with boundless knowledge, along with experiences and setbacks that are all teaching opportunities.
And as we progress along our path, we will be in better places than we were previously. This means we can be there for other people in ways we couldn’t previously, whether that be physically, mentally, financially, or even spiritually. In other words, we have something we can give back to the world.
After all, who are we if we don’t help others where we can? If we don’t help others, then we ourselves are unrealized potential.
WHY HELPING OTHERS IS GOOD FOR YOU
We certainly received some form of help along the way.
However, even if you feel like you haven’t had help, it doesn’t change the fact that helping others is a good practice.
Helping others reach success is good for the obvious moral reasons, and it should come from the heart. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t incentives.
What if I told you that you will realize your own dreams in the course of helping others achieve theirs? What goes around comes around. Yes, not surprisingly, helping others can open doors that weren’t there before.
The act of providing, of giving back to the world, is important for many reasons.
HOW HELPING OTHERS MAKES YOU HAPPY
I personally believe God didn’t put us in this world to be alone. We all share this world together and we are meant to help each other.
The act of helping others is good and moral. It also gives you a sense of fulfillment that can bring you happiness. You start to feel good about yourself, which helps reinforce your positive mindset.
LEARNING FROM THE EXPERIENCE OF OTHERS
Giving back will also expand your knowledge. You might have the chance to help someone do something that you don’t know how to do. Similarly, they have a different way of doing things that you could apply to your own endeavors. You also might even be able to receive useful feedback in regards to your own projects.
IMPORTANCE OF NETWORKING WITH PEOPLE
If you pay attention to helping others you’ll also be building your network. Meeting people opens the door to meeting more people as a result. Moreover, every person has their own experiences you can learn from, and may even have resources that can help you in turn. Meanwhile, you can even make good friends out of these situations. Good friends can be hard to come by, but helping those who you meet on your path can connect you with like-minded and goal-oriented people.
Our projects will often involve other people as well. For many of us, an element of our success is reliant upon others. People will care more about what you’re doing when you’re there to help when they’re in need of something you have to offer.
CHOOSE TO BE A LEGEND
I’ll put this simply: people don’t remember you for what you have more than they remember you for what you did.

Choose to give back to the world and help others, be remembered for something greater than yourself, and become a legend.
IDEAS ON HOW TO HELP OTHERS
It’s a beautiful thing to help others achieve success. Nobody says you have to hold their hand through their whole journey, but you can if you want to. It’s about helping from the heart whenever you can, however you can. Whether that’s just some friendly advice, taking the time to physically help them, or teaching them something, it’s up to you.
Don’t wait until you’ve achieved your definition of success to start helping others whenever possible. You should take any opportunity to help others in any way you can. It can be big or small.
If you close your eyes to others, they will do the same to you. In your own journey, you’re not going to know when you’ll need help until you need it. We should all be helping each other.
Opportunities to help others will present themselves regularly. What things have you learned? Do other people need this information? When you talk to people, is there something they mention needing help with? Maybe you know how to do something in particular, or you can provide specialized advice? Is there a resource that you have used that could help others in their current situation?
You can also provide help through conversation with others. Maybe you can give a lecture or a speech for people to hear. Help can be given through any medium, and it can be knowledge or it can be physical help.
Even if it has nothing to do with the things you’ve learned on your journey, you can still attempt to help someone with something they are doing.
WORD OF CAUTION
Be sure that you understand the difference between being there to help others and being taken advantage of. They are not the same, and while one can bring you fulfillment and happiness, the other will bring negative feelings and experiences.
CONCLUSION
Provide for others throughout your journey. Don’t be selfish with your knowledge and skills. Be there to help people achieve their own success when you can. The very process of helping others will help you see your own dreams fulfilled. This is because the act of helping others will open doors you wouldn’t have seen before.
These doors are new knowledge, new friends, new networks or resources, and even just a sense of happiness and positive outlook.
Give back to the world. Be remembered for something greater than yourself and become a legend.
